Units are managed in the Booking module. You can make changes on the setup options at any time. Follow the below steps to complete the update.
Instructions
Navigate to the Booking module.
From the menu ribbon select the Settings button.
Click the Units tile.
Enter the Unit Name to update
Click the Edit button.
Make the necessary changes to the unit. Below is the list of field you can update.
Field Name | Description |
Name | Give the unit a unique identifier. |
Unit Group | Unit groups are groups the unit will be organized under. This will be how the availability calendar is sorted. Unit groups must be setup prior to the unit i.e. Pontoon, Double Decker, Hotel, etc. |
Description | The details about the unit, i.e. type of boat, amount of beds in room, etc |
Map Caption | The spacing caption you wish to display if different from the name. Useful if the hotel is mapped. |
Owner | Select the customer which may own the unit. Used for commercial leases. |
Notes | Any special notes for the unit. This notes will display on the map. |
Alert | Any alerts set for the unit. This will flash yellow on the map to get the employees attention to review the unit. |
Inactive | If the unit is no longer available mark inactive. |
Click the Save button.
