Unit Groups are used to funnel individual units into a grouping that is easier managed across many areas in Sharper. Some instances include creating units themselves, entering meter readings, and reporting.
Creating the Unit Group
Unit group creation is essential before creating new units. Follow the below steps to create a unit group:
Select the Booking module on the menu ribbon to the left.
Click the Settings tab using the menu at the top.
Select the Unit Groups tile.
Click Add New at the top right-hand side.
Name the Unit Group.
This is often the general name for a set of individual units. For example, if your marina has a fleet of 5 pontoons you could make the unit group named ‘Pontoons’. Then the individual units (pontoons) would be assigned to this unit group during unit creation.
Save.
