We’ve introduced new features and improvements. Yes we have been busy, but we are no where close to being done.

Deposit Detail

Who said accounting has to be boring? Our revolutionary Deposit Detail screen makes managing your deposits, invoices, refunds, and retentions a breeze.

  • Apply deposits to customer invoice.

  • Instantly see account balances and debits/credits.

  • Retain/refund the remainder amounts with just a few clicks.

\uD83D\uDCD8 How to use the Deposit Detail Screen

These screen is only available if there is a deposit on the reservation.

  1. From the Reservations (in Marina, Campground, and/or Booking modules) select the customer’s reservation with a deposit.

  2. On the right-hand side of the screen is the Total section, which displays total cost, payments, refunds, retains, and deposits for the reservation.

  3. Open the Deposit Details screen by select the box arrow icon next to Deposit Details.

  4. This screen will display all the transactions associated with the deposit. The first will be the payment of the deposit. If there has not been a payment yet the Pay deposit button will be enable for the user to take the deposit.

  5. If the Customer has any open invoices the Apply to invoice button will be enabled.

    1. Click Apply to invoice.

    2. A selection of invoices will display. Select the invoice(s) and enter the amounts you would like to apply.

  6. If the Customer should be refunded their deposit select the Refund button and enter the payment type and amount.

  7. If the deposit should be retained select the Retained button.

  8. If the customer should receive a credit on the account for future use, select the Issue Credit button.

  9. If a check needs to be generated by accounting, select the Check Refund. This will generate the necessary journal entries, however the user will still need to follow their process for generating check refunds outside of Sharper.

Booking Time Slots

Empowering marinas with precise time slot management for hourly bookings. This feature will not only enhance the customer experience by offering flexibility but will also ensure efficient utilization of resources.

\uD83D\uDCD8 Creating Time Slots

Time slots are only available for hourly booking periods. Once you have created the hourly product, the time slot select is displayed.

  1. From the reservation Products select the Booking Setup submenu.

  2. Find the Time Slot section and enter the Start and End times, you may enter as many time slots as you wish.

Time slot start and end times are depending on the times setup in the Earliest Rental Time and Latest Return Time constraints. The time slots will not exceed these times. The Buffer and Booking Interval will automatically calculate between given time slots.

  1. Click the Save button.

Blackout Types and Map Color

Expanded blackout options to provide marinas with increased control and customization. Tailoring blackouts settings to meet specific needs effortlessly.

\uD83D\uDCD8 Creating New Blackouts

Time slots are only available for hourly booking periods. Once you have created the hourly product, the time slot select is displayed.

  1. From the reservation module (Marina, Campground, and/or Booking) select Settings.

  2. Click Space or Unit Blackouts.

  3. Enter the Name of the blackouts.

  4. Select the Booking Type from the drop-down.

  5. Select the Spaces or Units which need to be blacked out.

  6. Select the Start Date and Start Time from the date picker.

  7. Select the End Date and End Time from the date picker.

  8. Select the Type from the drop-down box.

    1. Maintenance

    2. Off-Season

    3. On-Hold

    4. Out-Of-Service

    5. Spare

  9. Select the Map Color from the drop-down box, to change the color of the Spaces shown on the map.

  10. Click the Save button.

Multiple Product Images

Allow your customers to visualize their stay at your property with multiple images of your products. Available with out online booking platform.

  1. From the reservation Products (Marina, Campground, and/or Bookings) select the product you wish to add images.

  2. Within the General sub-menu find the Images section.

  3. Click the Plus Sign on the empty image and upload an image from your hard-drive by clicking Upload Image.

  4. Once you have uploaded the image, select the image and click Select button.

  5. Repeat steps 3-4 until you have uploaded all the images you wish to attach.

  6. Click the Save button.

Beam Occupancy

Introducing a comprehensive map view displaying double berth beam occupancy, enabling marinas to optimize space allocation and enhance operational efficiency.

  1. From the navigation pane select Company Settings.

  2. Select the Module Defaults.

  3. Scroll to the Marina module.

  4. Toggle on Double Berth. This will display occupancy by beam on the map for double berths.

Advanced Map Features

Experience an upgraded map interface now equipped with intuitive color-coded statuses, allowing marinas to quickly interpret and act upon critical information. To view the color legend hover over the Colors menu next to Map Options. Additional features coming to the map soon.

Module Service Fees

Set unique payment service fees per module for flexible pricing strategies, optimizing revenue, and management. Please contact Sharper if you would like to utilize module service fees.

Accounting Sync Alert

Simplify finding errors which may occur syncing to you accounting software. Quickly visualize and resolve any customer balances by selecting the alert feature in the CRM module → Customers.

E-signature Date Stamp on Dashboard

Perfect for anyone managing multiple contracts, this sleek feature delivers easy organization and insight. See all your critical contract details in one spot and take on business like a boss!

Customer Account Management

We've plugged a pesky hole where inactive accounts were accepting charges. Now, you can set sail knowing only the active accounts will be part of your financial fleet.

Autopay Report

Autopay has been added to reports, determine which customers are setup for autopay with a click of a button.

Mandatory Phone Numbers for Reservations

Ring, ring! We've added a snazzy new requirement that ensures every reservation is accompanied by a phone number. Now, there's always a direct line to your guests just in case!

New Invoice Can Be Spent On the Spot

Good news for the invoice enthusiasts! We've made your workflow smoother. Now, as soon as you create a new invoice, you can send it off immediately.

POS Payment Details

Check out your POS orders—they now display the payment method used.

Email Payment Confirmations

We've added sent icons and dates to the payment tab, so now you can easily see when payments have been emailed to customers. Keep track with confidence!

Customer Dashboard Clarity
