Create Memberships and Booking Credits
Create Membership Reservation
To create the seasonal reservation following the instructions in the Seasonal Reservation - Marina or Seasonal Reservation - Campground knowledge Base Article.
Navigate to the Marina/Campground module where you created the membership products via the navigation pane.
Select Reservation from the menu ribbon.
Click the Advanced Reservation button.
Choose the Seasonal option.
Select the customer's desired membership product.
Search for the season to view the price.
Enter the customer's information.
Click the Save button.
Collect the deposit.
Create Booking Credits
Once the membership package has been successfully purchased, the subsequent step in the process is to create the booking credits for the customer. This is an essential part of ensuring that the customer can fully utilize the benefits associated with their membership.
Navigate to the Booking module from the navigation pane.
Select More from the menu ribbon and click Settings.
Navigate to Booking Credits tile.
Click Add New button.
Enter the following fields which relate to the booking credits:
General
Field | Function |
Customer *Required field | Assigns a customer to the Booking Credit. |
Name | Indicates the booking credit name. |
Code | Specifies the code customers need to enter when using the booking credits. |
Enabled | Allows manual activation or deactivation of the Booking Credits. |
Accounting
Field | Description |
Item Type | Indicates the type of item which should be a service item. |
Tax Code *Required field | Specifies whether the item is taxable or non-taxable. |
Account *Required field | Tracks the financial impact of the promo code when utilized. |
Rules
Field | Function |
Creation Start and End Date | Defines the period during which the booking credits are valid if the booking was CREATED between these two dates. |
Bookable Start and End Date | Specifies the period during which the booking credits are valid if the booking is SCHEDULED between these two dates. |
Concurrent Reservations | Sets the amount of active reservations one Boat Club member is allowed to reserve. |
Minimum Price | Establishes a minimum price threshold that must be met before the booking credit can be applied. |
Maximum Price | Establishes a maximum price threshold that must be met before the booking credit can be applied. |
Days | Select the days the booking credits can be used. |
Minimum Duration | Specifies the minimum number of days required for the booking before the booking credits can be applied. |
Maximum Duration | Specifies the maximum number of days required for the booking before the booking credits can be applied. |
Minimum Book in Advance | Determines the min number of days before the booking's scheduled arrival date that the booking must be made. |
Maximum Book in Advance | Determines the max number of days before the booking's scheduled arrival date that the booking must be made. |
Required Products | Specifies a mandatory product that must be booked for the booking credits to be applicable. |
Available Products | Identifies the products eligible for the booking credit |
Click the Save button.
