Boat Club Setup and Settings

Utilize the booking credits associated with the various products to inform the system regarding the specific number of credits that need to be applied at the time of product booking. This process ensures that the system accurately recognizes and applies the appropriate amount of credits.

Create Membership Products

To create membership products for upfront payment of the membership in the Marina/Campground module since these modules are designed for longevity, as they are not transient products. If you are not using the Campground module you may choose to rename this module to Boat Club.

To rename a module navigate to Company Settings Module Settings Campground Caption → Enter the desired label “Boat Club” → Click the Save button. You may also update the Icon to “Ticket.”

  1. Navigate to the Marina/Campground module where you will create the membership products via the navigation pane.

  2. Select Product from the menu ribbon.

  3. Choose the Seasonal option. Note please create the season prior to creating the membership product.

  4. Enter the name of the membership for example “Gold Membership”.

  5. Follow to procedure for creating an seasonal product and enter the income account, price the membership, deposit policy, Invoice frequency to upfront, and whether or not you are deferring income.

  6. Click the Save button.

  7. Repeat the following steps for all membership products.

Setup Booking Credits for Products

To create booking credits to the products for the Boat Club, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Booking module via the navigation pane.

  2. Select Product from the menu ribbon.

  3. Choose each product the Boat Club will use.

  4. Proceed to Booking Setup submenu and under Constraints Sections proceed to the Booking Credits field.

  5. Repeat steps 1-4 to assign Booking Credits to each product in the book club; for example, allocate 2 credits for full-day rentals and 1 for half-day rentals.
