Vehicles

Learn how to create and manage vehicle records in the Campground module, including fields, attachments, and required information.

This instructional guide offers a detailed overview of creating vehicles in the Campground module. Vehicles are associated with customers, and it is essential to create the customer profile before proceeding with vehicle creation.

Create a Vehicle

  1. Navigate to the Campground module and select Vehicles from the menu ribbon (the More button may need to be selected if Vehicles is not displayed on the menu ribbon).

  2. Select Add New located at the top right-hand corner of your screen.

  3. Following this, make a selection for the appropriate fields below.

General Settings

Vehicle Name (Required field)

Name of the vehicle.

Customer (Required field)

Select the customer who owes vehicles.

Current Space (Automated)

This field will contain information derived from a reservation made by the customer for the specific vehicle.

Images

The images of the vehicle.

Vehicle Information

Field

RV Type (Required field)

Please choose the type of vehicle.

Make

Please indicate the make of the vehicle.

Model

Enter the model of the vehicle.

Year

Enter the year of the vehicle.

Color

Enter the color of the vehicle.

License Plate #

Enter the license plate number of the vehicle.

Serial Number

Enter the serial number of the vehicle.

Motorized Toggle

Toggle signifying if the vehicle is motorized.

Length Overall

Enter length overall in “ft” and “in” of the vehicle.

Beam

Enter beam in “ft” and “in” of the vehicle.

Height

Enter height in “ft” and “in” of the vehicle.

Insurance Settings

Insurance Company

Enter insurance company of the vehicle.

Insurance Policy Number

Enter insurance policy number of the vehicle.

Insurance Expiration date

Enter insurance expiration date of the vehicle.

Agent Name

Enter agent name of the vehicle.

Agent Phone

Enter agent phone of the vehicle.

Agent Email

Enter agent email of the vehicle.

COI Received

Toggle on if COI is received.

Additional Insured

Toggle on if vehicle is additionally insured.

Vehicle status

Field

Function

Inactive

Toggle on if vehicle is inactive and no longer in use at the marina.

  1. Click the Save button after filling out the appropriate fields. If a required field is left unfilled, the system will prevent you from saving your work at a later time.

Attachments

You have the capability to save attachments to the vehicle. If your customer has provided registration information or insurance documents, you can attach these documents to the vehicle for safekeeping and review them at your convenience.

  1. Click the Attachments button from the action menu.

  2. Click the Upload Attachment button.

  3. Select the Attachment Type (this is optional and can be setup in System Settings → Attachment Types).

  4. Click the Select button.

  5. Select the file you wish to upload and click the Open button.

  6. Click the Upload button.
