Printers need to be configured initially in System Settings → Printers before proceeding to establish Prep Stations. After setting up the printers, the next step involves assigning them to the prep station printers. It is essential to allocate each product to a prep station if necessary. Keep in mind that certain items may require assignment to multiple prep stations.
\uD83D\uDCD8 Create Prep Stations
If you are a Marina with multiple outlets, please make sure to be in the ‘TRS’ or ‘POS’ outlet before beginning.
Select to the POS module from the navigation pane.
From the ribbon menu at the top choose Settings.
Click on the Prep Stations tile.
Click the Add New button.
Create a Name for the prep station.
Select the Printer from the drop-down selection, for the orders to be sent.
Does the prep station need an expediter? If yes, enable Send to Expediter.
Click the Save button.
