POS - Product Grids

The product grid is a configuration of the POS terminal layout and the user interface assigned to registers. Every user, with credentials, who signs in to the register will see the same theme, layout, and images. The product grid designer adds menu buttons to the POS terminal and add products to display within the menu i.e. Dessert is the product grid button configured and Cheesecake, Bread Pudding, and Hot Fudge Cake is the product added to the group.

  1. From the navigation pane select the Point Of Sale module.

  2. Select Products Grids from the menu ribbon

  3. Click the Add New button to create a new product grid.

  4. Name the Product Grid i.e. Restaurant. This name will not display or be seen within the terminal.

  5. Click the Add Group button.

  6. Name the Grid Group and click OK button. This name will display and be seen within the terminal.

  7. Add an Image by clicking the pencil above the icon. Upload an image and click the Select button.

  8. Click Add Product button to select the product to be added to the menu button. Make sure to click on the button on the Grid Group you just created otherwise the product will be added to the main menu. You can always move after the fact by drag and drop under the Group.

  9. Search Product by typing all or part of the product name and select from the drop-down menu.

    Click Save. Repeat these steps until all the products are added to the menu. Product pictures can be added on the product level.
