In Sharper, Booking Types represent a category that links products, spaces, and rate plans together when identical Booking Types are applied in the respective product, unit, and rate plans' setup. When updating Booking Types you are essentially effecting all products that are tied to that Booking Type.
Booking Type Setup
Whether you aim to establish a new booking type or modify existing ones, this guide provides comprehensive coverage. Booking types play a crucial role across all reservation-based modules in Sharper, with minor variations among the Marina, Campground, and Booking modules.
After the go-live period with Sharper there will be at least one booking type available to make changes as the need arises. This section will include what each field is capable of doing and when you may want to use them.
Finding the Booking Types
Using the navigation pane on the left select Marina.
Click More on the top menu ribbon and select Settings. This will show a list of current booking types in the Marina module.
Select the Booking Type you wish to view or edit.
Booking Type Fields
