Printer

  1. From the navigation pane select Company Settings.

  2. Select Printers from the menu ribbon.

  3. Click Add New button in upper right-hand.

  4. Enter the product’s properties where applicable:

Field Name

Description

Name - Required

Enter the unique identifier name for the printer.

URL

The location of the printer on the local server.

Type

Select the printer type from the dropdown field.

  • receipt - This type of printer is used to print receipts for the customer to sign and retain for their records.

  • service - This type of printer is utilized to print services and tasks for employees to carry out, such as in the kitchen.

Backup Printer

Select a printer designated for printing receipts in case of an error. It is essential to have all printers properly set up to ensure access to valuable.

Width

Select the printers width from the dropdown field.

Printer Library

Select the printers library from the dropdown field. The majority of printer will fall under the category of web_print.

  1. Click the Save button.

Assign Printer to POS Register

  1. From the navigation pane select POS.

  2. Select Registers from the menu ribbon.

  3. Hover over the desired register or search register name.

  4. Click the Edit button.

  5. Select the newly created printer from the Receipt Printer dropdown field to assign to the register.

  6. Click the Save button.

Edit Printer

  1. From the navigation pane select Company Settings.

  2. Select Printers from the menu ribbon.

  3. Hover over the desired printer or search printer name.

  4. Click the Edit button.

  5. Select the desired fields(s) which need editing and make changes

  6. Click the Save button.

Delete a Printer

  1. From the navigation pane select Company Settings.

  2. Select Printers from the menu ribbon.

  3. Hover over the desired printer or search printer name.

  4. Click the three dots.

  5. Select the Delete action.

  6. Click the Yes, Delete! button to confirm.
